About UnOffice

The story behind
the UnOffice

I'm Suzi. I've been helping people work smarter for almost 2 decades, and these days that includes helping them make sense of AI. Here's where UnOffice came from and what I believe about work.

My story

UnOffice began long before it had a name, when I was a newly single mom with two little ones at home, working full-time for minimum wage and taking online classes at night. I was exhausted, hopeful, determined, and doing everything I could to build a better future.

While working full time, I began to research additional ways to increase my income, especially with work-from-home side hustles (way before it was cool). I discovered the virtual assistant industry. Organization, tech, customer service, and administration were my wheelhouse.

There have been many ups and downs throughout the journey of building my business, from a part-time gig most nights up until the alarm rang the next morning, to now. I've prayed often over the years for the opportunity to help other women with the skills I have learned so they could start or manage their own businesses without the burnout, overwhelm, or sleepless nights.

My prayer was answered as UnOffice grew into a team of talented, intelligent, heart-led women, passionate about serving clients with excellence, clarity, and genuine care.

We're tech-savvy. We're relationship-driven. We love systems, strategy, and the "messy middle" of business, and we show up with warmth, empathy, and the desire to make your work, and your life, feel lighter.

What started as one mom on a couch at midnight has become a modern, faith-led, systems-smart support team for small businesses.

Where UnOffice is headed

The service work continues, and our small team is genuinely good at it. But UnOffice is also becoming something more: a place where I share what I've learned over the years and what I'm learning now about AI and technology. I build tools and experiments, teach through videos and guides, and I am gathering people in a community where we figure this stuff out together. The pace of change right now is a lot. Nobody should have to make sense of it alone.

Faith, Focus, Freedom: you weren't created to do it all

What I believe

Work smarter, stress less. That was the idea when this business had a different name and it still holds. I believe your business should support your life instead of consuming it. I believe technology should work for you, and if it doesn't, something is wrong with the setup, not with you. And my faith shapes how I work: with honesty, with care for the people behind every inbox, and with the conviction that purpose and provision can live in the same place.
